A surgical intervention was required on this ‘B’ listed villa in Edinburgh. A paltry garage extension from circa 1970 was remodelled as part of the strategy to open up the house to the garden front and back. A rear extension from the same era was removed and replaced with our curved frameless glass design, distilling the living space into a new aspect towards the garden. A lead mantle binds the new composition whilst a hydrotherapy bower punctuates and restores life to the more workaday section of the rear elevation.
