This project transformed a traditional Edinburgh Colonies double-upper property into a triple-upper with a mezzanine deck. In keeping with the thrifty Colonies tradition of making as much as possible with the given assets, a diminutive roof terrace, bespoke bath, and even a small stove were added.
The transformation gives a sense of the full volume of the property, with exposed roof trusses and the original stone separating wall visible in glimpses from the main living area.
